Jana Magdoňová (CZE)

Journalist

Jana works as a journalist at Czech Radio. She has been working in the Czech media for almost 16 years and in recent years has specialised in cyber security, technology and internet fraud. Her mission is to help people protect themselves, their children and parents from the pitfalls of the online world.

In 2021, Jana was at the birth of the Czech Radio project Ověřovna!, which fights against misinformation and distorted facts. She is also the co-author of the Antivirus show, where together with journalist Jan Cibulka they uncover the threats of the digital environment. Jana received the prestigious Kybercena 2024 award in the category of Cyber Security Manager.
